Linden, Michigan & the Spring Meadows Area

A Southern Genesee County Community With Deep Roots

Linden is a city in southern Genesee County, Michigan, within the Flint metropolitan area. Founded in 1835 by brothers Richard and Perry Lamb along the banks of the Shiawassee River, the community transitioned to city status in 1988. Today, Linden and the surrounding Tyrone Township offer a blend of small-town character and convenient access to metro-area amenities via US-23.

The Spring Meadows area is best known for the Spring Meadows Country Club, a private facility established in 1957 featuring an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Larry Packard. The Fairways of Spring Meadows community overlooks this course, giving residents premium golf-course views and a recreational backdrop right outside their door.
